Our Story
Jewellery has always meant more to us than something you wear.
During Aysha’s journey as a jewellery design graduate, she kept coming back to one thought: somewhere along the way, we were losing the connection between jewellery and the culture it came from.
As the industry evolved, mass production made jewellery faster and more affordable to produce. But somewhere in that process, designs started becoming more repetitive, more generic, and less personal. The little details, the stories, the craftsmanship and the cultural references that once made a piece feel special were slowly getting lost.
That is where Aysha Shahid Studio began.
We wanted to create jewellery that could bring that connection back ... pieces that take something from the rich culture of the Indo-Pak subcontinent and translate it into something you would actually want to wear today.
Every piece at AS Studio starts with an idea. We think about what it represents, where the inspiration comes from, and how we can turn that thought into something meaningful. Then it is made by hand, piece by piece, with the details given the time they deserve.
For us, handmade isn't just a way of making jewellery. It is the reason every piece feels different.
